Virus Oror
W32.HLLW.Oror@mm est un ver de publipostage qui s'envoie à tous les expéditeurs d'email qu'il trouve dans des messages entrants. Il se propage aussi par IRC, le voisinage réseau. Enfin, il tente de fermer des fenetres et de supprimer des fichiers d'antivirus et de firewall.
Quand W32. HLLW.Oror@mm est éxécuté, Il montre le message suivant :
Il se copie comme C:\%windir%\Rundll16.exe.
Il ajoute la valeur:
LoadCurrentProfile Rundll16.exe powprof.dll, LoadCurrentUserProfile
À la clef de :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\MicrosoftWindows\CurrentVersion\Run
Il choisit aléatoirement un nom de fichier depuis le dossier C:\%system%\
[ le nom de fichier choisi plus "2Ko"] .exe
[ le nom de fichier choisi plus "16" ].exe
[le nom de fichier choisi plus "32" ].exe
Par exemple, si le ver trouve le fichier C:\Windows\System\Netapi.exe, il peut se copier comme C:\Windows\System\Netapi16.exe.
Il insère la section suivante dans C:\Windows\Win.ini :
[windows]
run=C:\%System%\[le fichier du virus]
Le ver choisit aléatoirement un sous-dossier dans le ProgramFiles et se copie à ce sous-dossier employant le nom de sous-dossier plus "2Ko", "16", ou "32" comme son nom de fichier. Il ajoute alors une valeur qui se réfère à cette copie à la clef de registre:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\W indows\CurrentVersion\Run
Le ver peut créer les fichiers suivants :
C:\%windir%\Winfile.dll
C:\~msdos.---
C:\%windir%\Def12x.dll
C:\%windir%\Rn3a.vxd
Le ver ferme toutes les applications et fenetres dont les titres contiennent n'importe laquelles de ces mots:
black
panda
shield

Le ver cherche aussi des dossiers et les sous-dossiers qui contiennent l'un des mots suivants:

Le ver s'envoie à toutes les adresses électroniques qu'il trouve dans des messages entrants. Il peut utiliser son propre moteur de SMTP ou le programme d'email par défaut.

Supprimer les lignes ajoutées au fichier Win.ini
Supprimer les fichiers suivants s'il existent:

C:\%windir%\Rn3a.vxd
Scanner votre ordinateur
Supprimé tous les fichiers détectés en tant que W32.HLLW.Oror@mm
